It is no mystery that California is currently experiencing a drought. Many lakes, rivers, and reservoirs have dried up and depleted. Not only does the drought have a severe impact on California as a whole, but it also has an impact on individual homeowners. Many lawns have shriveled and withered away due to the drought, and it makes the front yard look terrible. As you can see in the pictures below, many lawns have died and look bad (as seen in the top row of pictures below).
Isn't it amazing how a true testimonial from a professional in any field means so much more than just a person you might pass on the street. As I was watching one of the Global Syn-Turf interviews with Ottis "O.J" Anderson regarding the complexities as well as the numerous synthetic turf styles available... I realized that the need for professional input was valuable no matter what type of information it is. When making a real informed decision it is essential.
It seems that everywhere you turn these days' new industries and their products are making a huge impact on our everyday lives. That old and archaic style of greed is out... and its successor, is a forward facing, globally conscience, do-gooder who really does care about what is "right" and not just about the "right now". The synthetic grass industry is an excellent example of businesses staying competitive while also maintaining a sense of that impact they have on the entire planet.
The U.S. Open continues on with extremely close scores and lots of excitement. Michelle Wie took first place ending with a score of -2 in the women's series. Stacy Lewis trailed her at a score of 0 in second place but couldn't manage to catch up. The atmosphere at the U.S. Open is vibrant and full of golf talent. The courses are magnificent, demonstrating the visual beauty of the artificial grass.

What's that? There's such a thing as pet turf? That's right, there is a specific model of artificial grass just for pets! With all the benefits as any other type of synthetic grass, pet grass is made especially for pets such as dogs and cats. That means no more watering your lawn or paying for lawn trims. The technology behind the pet grass is something we call Flo-Rite-Thru technology. It allows liquids such as dog urine to quickly pass through the turf instead of lingering.
It may seem like a small step for the Grass Master to use a Mixed Grass Ground for the FIFA World Cup of 2014, but for some it's one of excitement! Artificial turf is quickly becoming a real part of many people's everyday lives! In all actuality, the synthetic portion of the mix is what has truly saved the day for both the players and the fans alike.
The opening of the 2014 World Cup, held in the Amazonia Arena in Manaus, Brazil is one of the most anticipated sports events of the year. Although this is an energetic and positive event, many news articles have been criticizing the field stadium because of its extremely poor turf. Manaus is located in the middle of a rainforest and the only way to reach the city is by plane or boat. The maintenance has been extremely tight because all of the supplies need to be transported by boat.
